Each of the following people is missing. Some have been missing for years, while others have only been gone a few months. Do you know anything that can help our investigators solve these missing persons cases?
Colleen Kay Barrett
Colleen Barrett was sharing a residence on the 5800 block of Rapp Street in Englewood with boyfriend
Robert Alurac
until July 19, 2007, when she went missing. A few days later, on July 23, a real estate agent showing a home near Morrison discovered Alurac's body. Alurac had been shot.
Investigators believe that 45-year-old
Ronald Talmage
picked up Colleen Barrett at her residence at noon on July 19, 2007. This is her last known whereabouts. Talmage may have traveled in or around the area southwest of Colorado Springs that day. He was driving a dark green 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Talmage was killed in a confrontation with the Douglas County SWAT team a few days after Alurac's body was identified.
Colleen Barrett is 46 years old, white, 5'2", 130 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.
Nonnie Dotson
The 33-year-old Air Force nurse from San Antonio was visiting her brother in south Jefferson County on November 19, 2006. She was last seen at her brother's house near Kipling and C-470.
Dotson was to report back to the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio two days after she disappeared. She had met up with friends at the Grizzly Rose bar in Denver the night before her disappearance, and had visited a dating Web site for single parents on the morning of her disappearance. Dotson has a baby daughter, who is being cared for by Dotson's parents. Dotson is white, 5'3", 115, with long brown hair and brown eyes.
Mitchell Hein
Mitchell Hein was 23 years old in 1983, when he left his parents' house in Golden and headed to Oklahoma. Hein had spent some time wandering from place to place, including Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma and California, up to that point.
Hein was allegedly traveling with friends in May 1983 when he got out of the car at a gas station in Indio, California. He has not been seen since. Mitchell Hein is 47 years old, 6' tall, 170 lbs, and has curly auburn hair and brown eyes.
Ryan Weiter
, aka
James Perkins
Ryan Weiter ran away from his family's home in Conifer in 1997, when he was 16. He was apparently drawn to life on the streets, or more specifically, life riding the rails. Weiter originally went to San Francisco, then hitchhiked to southern California and lived on the streets in Hollywood. He was known to be in Klamath County, Oregon in 2001. His last known location was in 2002, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Ryan Weiter is white, 5'6", 130 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a vertical tattoo of railroad tracks on his chin and has been known to wear his hair in a punk style. He has also been using the name James Perkins. Investigators believe he may be in Oregon again.
