Police blotter: Man cited for threatening coach

RIVER RAFT REPORTED STOLEN
Police investigated the theft of a raft from the Platte River reported May 29.
Officers on bike patrol on South Platte River Trail were flagged down by a Lakewood man who reported the raft had apparently been stolen from the river near the Platte river Bar and Grill, 5995 S. Santa Fe Drive between about 12:30 and 1:45 p.m. The owner said he had checked areas of the river where it might have drifted from where it was tied up and found nothing. The 14-foot raft was valued at $1,500.

MAN CITED FOR THREATS TO SON'S BASEBALL COACH
On May 30, police issued a citation for harassment to a 48-year-old Parker man after he allegedly threatened a coach at a youth baseball game at Bowles Grove Park, 3100 W. Bowles Avenue. The man was apparently upset his son was not getting enough playing time in the game and came to the dugout and threatened the coach, according to the report, and took his shirt off. The Parker man was issued the citation and released.
