On Sept. 19, about 1:14 A.M., Arapahoe County Sheriff's Deputy Gulli was dispatched to the Vistas at Saddle Rock Apartments located at 22959 E. Smoky Hill Road regarding a report of three armed subjects walking in the complex. The three subjects were contacted by FBI. agents as they were walking through the complex parking lot.
The subjects were found to be wearing camouflage pants; one subject was armed with a loaded AR-15 rifle slung over his shoulder and the other was armed with a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol tucked in his waistband.
The subjects are identified as Brian Laro ,37, Timothy Guinn, 24, both ofAurora,
The third subject was not armed. The three stated they were at Laro's apartment having "a few beers" when they heard what they thought was a gunshot and went to investigate. Laro appeared to be intoxicated and had a BrAC of .123 Guinn had a BrAC of .020.
Laro was taken into custody and was being held at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Detentions Facility on a $750 bond on the following charges:
C.R.S. 18-12-106 Prohibited Use of Weapon: a class 2 misdemeanor
C.R.S. 18-9-106 Disorderly Conduct: a class 2 misdemeanor
The firearms were placed into evidence. Guinn was released at the scene and his concealed weapons permit was confiscated pending a review of the incident.
