Bonfils gets swingin' with annual golf tournament

Mark your calendars for Bonfils Blood Center's annual Chip in for Life golf benefit presented by title sponsor Key Bank and gold sponsors Ortho-Clinical and Saunders Construction. On Monday, Aug. 18, Glenmoor Country Club will host the tournament for the third straight year. The country club is located at 110 Glenmoor Drive in Cherry Hills Village, Colo., and boasts a challenging 18-hole course designed by

Player registration begins at 7 a.m. along with breakfast followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Round out the day with a luncheon program and awards ceremony beginning at 1:30 p.m.

for more information. Funds raised at the tournament will support the blood center's programs including bloodmobile funding, the Colorado Marrow Donor Program, job training and research. More than $119,000 was raised at the 2007 event and supported such efforts.
Established in 1995, Bonfils Blood Center Foundation is the fundraising arm of Bonfils Blood Center and provides financial support for many of the blood center's life-saving efforts. Bonfils Blood Center provides blood and blood products to more than 200 hospitals and healthcare facilities and needs to collect 4,000 blood donations weekly to meet the needs of the community and to be prepared for any unexpected events.
