Arapahoe County Attorney Kathryn Schroeder has been selected to attend the prestigious John F. Kennedy School of Government Senior Executives Program at Harvard University July 6-25.
The Program for Senior Executives and Elected Officials at Harvard teaches elected officials and senior managers innovative and creative ways of managing today's challenges in government.
Schroeder will attend the three-week executive development program on a $10,000 Gates Family Foundation scholarship. She was one of six public leaders serving in state, county or local government, or in a non-profit organization selected from Colorado to attend this program.
Schroeder is the County Attorney for Arapahoe County and oversees a 33 member department. She has worked for Arapahoe County for 18 years.
Schroeder joins Commissioner Susan Beckman, Shannon Carter, the Special Assistant to the Board of County Commissioners, and Finance Director Janet Kennedy, who have attended the Senior Executive program from Arapahoe County.
