On Thursday, August 28, The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close Interstate 25 from the interchange with I-70 to the interchange with 6th Avenue starting at 5:30 p.m. for a Democratic National Convention event at Invesco Field. The highway will remain closed until the "official" National Special Security Event (NSSE) concludes, sometime around 9 p.m. However, if the event runs longer, the closure will remain in place until the Secret Service allows for its reopening.

CO 119 Northbound/Southbound 1 Mile north of US 6/CO 119 Junction in North Clear Creek Canyon (Milemarker 1) (through October 2008) 4:00am-2:00pm MO-FR There will be one lane alternating traffic. for roadway reconstruction. Delays are possible. Speed limit reduced to 40 mph through the work zone.

CO 121 Northbound/Southbound Wadsworth Blvd. Between 55th and 58th Avenues (Milemarker 17-18) (through October 2008) 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri, 6 a.m.-8 p.m. SA Single lane closures for concrete trucks entering and exiting the roadway and pipe work. Concrete will be poured on Friday. Alternate routes strongly advised.

CO 177 Northbound/Southbound University Blvd. at County Line Rd. (Milemarker 0) (through May 2009) 24 Hours Only two lanes open on northbound from Dad Clark to Ontero Cr. and only one lane open southbound. Left turn lanes available from both directions. Work is being done by the City of Centennial. For information call 303-562-2018 ext. 357. Alternate routes are advised.

CO 2 Eastbound/Westbound at 88th Ave. (Milemarker 14) (through December 2008) 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri There will be one lane alternating traffic. for intersection improvements. Delays possible.

CO 58 Eastbound/Westbound At Washington (Milemarker 0.71) (through March 2010) 24 Hours Only one lane is open in each direction for bridge work. Delays are possible. 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Mon-Fri All lanes of eastbound and westbound will be closed for pedestrian bridge work. Traffic will be detoured onto the on and off ramps. Full closure. Delays possible.

CO 58 Eastbound/Westbound Between Washington Ave. and McIntyre St. (Milemarker 5.4) (through February 2009) 24 Hours Only one lane of SH 58 over 44th will be open in each direction with traffic realigned on the eastbound lanes. 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri, Single lane closures on 44th Between Easley Rd. and Vasquez St. for bridge girder work.
