Resident involved in fatal vehicular homicide

On March 13 at approximately 10:17 P.M. the Colorado State Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Mountain Laurel at Valley Pkwy.

A 2004 Mazda B2300 pick-up truck was southbound on Mountain Laurel at Valley Pkwy. The driver of the Mazda David Amermon age 34 of Littleton, lost control of the vehicle and collided with several rocks in the center median. The Mazda rolled-over a 1/4 time onto the passenger side partially ejecting the passenger.

The driver was transported to Littleton Hospital with minor injuries. The passenger Tracy Oswood age 46 of Littleton, was pronounced dead on scene. Alcohol and speed are factors in the crash.

Upon his release from Littleton Hospital David Amermon will be booked into the Jefferson County Jail on multiple charges including Vehicular Homicide, and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol.
