Laund-Ur-Mutt, a local grooming and "do it your-self" dog wash, is attempting to share the joy with those less fortunate this Holiday Season. The current promotion at Laund-Ur-Mutt is aptly named "Angels for Freedom" and spotlights the dogs from Freedom Service Dogs. FSD is a local non-profit organization that rescues unwanted dogs and custom trains them to assist those with disabilities.

Dawn Olson, owner of Laund-Ur-Mutt talks about why she chose to support FSD. "We were originally drawn to FSD because of their motto 'we turn throw-aways into superstars!' and their continual commitment to train dogs to be the best they can be." Customers can help out a Freedom Service Dog this Holiday Season by stopping by the store and picking out an angel ornament. Each ornament contains the name, picture, and wish list of a Freedom Service Dog. Prices range from $12-$100 and customers get to keep the ornament as a cheerful reminder of their donation.

Angels for Freedom is not the first kindhearted deed for Laund-Ur-Mutt this season. In November they held a food drive called "Feast for Fido" which allowed customers to purchase food baskets that went to homeless dogs in local shelters. "As part of the pet care industry, it is important to us that we give back to the community" said Olson. "These promotions also provide an easy way for our clients to give back as well."

Laund-Ur-Mutt recently celebrated its second year with Olson as the owner and continues to thrive thanks to her attention to detail and commitment of excellence.
