Diane DuBose, who teaches puppy obedience and dog training at Ken Caryl said, “Stay, and come are the most important commands you can teach your dog. Those two words could save their lives.”
At the opening session of Puppy Preschool held Jan. 3 at Dakota Lodge in Ken Caryl, she added, "Imagine that your dog is approaching a street curb. If you tell the dog to stay, it could prevent him from stepping off that curb into oncoming traffic.”
DuBose works with puppies and older dogs. The six-week session runs until Feb. 7. DuBose is the owner of Hoppin' in the Hills Agility and can be reached at 303-697-1729. For information on the classes at Ken Caryl Ranch, call 303-479-4070.
