Community members got a chance to see what life was like for farmers in the 1860s as volunteers re-enacted the use of horse-drawn plows May 16 at the Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup St.
Three teamsters with their draft horses were invited to join the museum's mule team in demonstrating the use of plows, cultivator, disk and other horse-drawn farm implements. Heirloom seeds and plants also were sold at the sun-drenched event.
