Our son-in-law has taught everything we know about baseball. In past years, he lived in Denver and his son lived in Ft. Collins, CO. During his son's highschool years of baseball, distance never kept him from attending any game within a resonable disatace. This was also true, with summer leages amd local practice. We attended a number of games and learned some of the baseball "talk".
His son found his nitch as a pitcher and was scotted by a junior college some two hundred miles away. He obtained scholarship and played two years of winning games. His Dad traveled the two hundred miles many times to root for his son.
His son was scotted again and gained a 3 year scholarship in asouthern college, as the left handed pitcher beginning this fall of 07.
I'm certain our son with travel agin to see his son play, but not as much as the past. But you can account on him getting a break down of every game his son plays. We will listen and gradulator him and be proud for him. No doubt we will learn more about baseball - as will the extended family.
These are the reasons we think our son-in-law desires thisgame at Coors Field.
Sincerly,
Alice Banks
