Great food is your fortune at Panda Express
Contributed by: Dawn Green on 8/23/2006

Walking through the door of Panda Express is like walking through the golden gates of heaven. The smell of Chinese food greets you at the door. Two curly bamboo plants stand at the entry, and colorful panda posters hang from the ceiling. While standing in line, you will look at the menu and your stomach will begin to growl.

As soon as you get to the front of the line, the friendly servers will ask you what you want to eat. You may order two to six entrees, and you can choose white rice, fried rice, or lo mein for a side dish. The restaurant has fast service and the servers understand if you need to switch an entree.

The food at Panda Express is delicious. When I go there, I always order: white rice, Orange Chicken, and Crab and Cheese Wontons. The white rice sticks together and tastes yummy. The Orange Chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with an orange flavor that bursts in your mouth. The Crab and Cheese Wontons are crunchy with white cream cheese in the middle that makes your mouth tingle. Some of the other entrees at Panda Express are: Chicken with Mushrooms, Kung Pao Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Mixed Vegetables, and Sweet and Sour Pork. Once your tray is filled with food, you can find a place to sit.

You can sit near a window or enjoy your meal out on the porch. Panda Express is a great place for Chinese food. Next time you're hungry, go to the Highlands Ranch Panda Express located at 9563 S. University Boulevard.
