Sound off: Columbine exchange student seeks asylum

Mesbah Habibi,a 17-year-old exchange student from Afghanistan attending Columbine High School, took a trip to Washington D.C. last week, but never returned.

The Denver Post is reporting he and several other exchange students from Afghanistan have emerged in Canada, seeking aslyum. According to The Denver Post, Habibi was scheduled to return to Afghanistan in about two months.

Well, not quite sure to whom the students are defecting? There is very little data to go on here.
