Mainstream America is not liberal

In Heather Dittenbar's February 16th diatribe on Justice Sam Alito, she has totally missed what goes on in the real world rather than the liberal fantasy land that Libs live in. There's no apathy about Justice Alito's values. A large majority of Americans have emailed, faxed and written letters to their Sentors, to the Senate Judiciary Committee members and to their state office holders not just encouraging Justice Alito's confirmation, but demanding it. Many tens of thousands of such communiqués have been sent.

Why would so many Americans want to do this? It would seem they want judges on the Supreme Court, not artists of social change that obscure the laws of the land with personal interpretations of the Constitution rather than taking that precious document at face value. The majority of America isn't liberal; they are the mainstream of our culture. Yes, Heather, the mainstream of this country, something the leftists in America will never understand. They want their values represented in the courts, not socialist, leftist agendas. They are trusting that Justice Sam Alito will represent the majority's values for a change.
