Vote for Tourney-wolf will guard the henhouse
Contributed by: Sarah Barclay on 5/1/2008

I've lived in Ken-Caryl for more than 10 years and I'm distressed that Ms. Tourney is running for KCRMD board solely for what is her own personal gain and yet another attempt to manipulate the judicial process. I've reviewed all the facts and data offered by both sides, and I'm voting IN FAVOR of A & B and for Milano, McDonald and Milne because it's a fact that: 1) the Plains Metropolitan District in which Ms. Tourney owns property sued KCRMD first - and if they lost PMD would owe KCRMD $3.5 million for facilities which Plains Metro contractually agreed to provide in 1988 (they breached their contract and now they want a free pass at the expense of the KC residents); and 2) if Ms.Tourney and Mr. Lyle are elected and manage to secure the majority of the MD board they can destroy this community by overturning your vote for Yes on the mill levy by lowering the mills without the community's approval. The FACT is the KCMDdoes not need the community's approval to lower the mill levy, only increase it.

Get informed with the real facts before you vote and protect this community from the self-serving interests of Ms. Tourney.
