Adult baseball league looking for players
Contributed by: Joe Collins on 2/3/2006

The Denver NABA heading into it's 13th season in Colorado is affiliated with the National Adult Baseball Association (NABA). The NABA is a National Company located in Lakewood, Colorado. The NABA has over 45,000 player members nation wide and is currently in 32 states. The NABA offers National Tournaments across the country. Many of the local Denver teams participate in the National tournaments offered.

The local chapter of the NABA expects over 80 teams and will have over 1,200 players in the year 2006. Denver League President Joe Collins says "the league offers numerous levels of play so that everyone can take part." The divisions are 18Rookie, 18A, 18A Wood, 18AA, 18AAA Wood, 28A, 38A, 38AA, and 48A. The NABA's philosophy is that anyone can and should play. "We break up our divisions so that the individuals who may have never played the game before can play with their peers and those individuals that may have played college baseball or higher can play with their peers. It makes for a level playing field."

The Denver NABA is holding Player Draft & Tryout for the league on February 19, 2006. Any players interested in playing in the league can come out to get placed on a team. The Player Draft will take place at Alameda High School in Lakewood, CO. Ages 18-28 will start at 9:00am sharp. Ages 28-Up will start at 1:00pm sharp. If you would like more information about the league or would like to sign up please visit our website at www.denvernaba.com.

The Denver NABA is signing up individual players as well as full teams into the league. If you would like to be a part of Colorado's Largest Adult Baseball League please sign up today. We hope to see you on the field.
