4 year old cancer survivor...
Contributed by: Jason Mayoral on 11/21/2005

About 1-1/2 years ago my son underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant in a Minneapolis hospital. Proir to that, at 2 years of age, he was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia,) a form of cancer. He relapsed and the only choice they gave us was the transplant. He has been so strong through the whole process and has been an angel to us. He currently is doing great and he acts just like a 4 year old should. Through this whole process we could not have done it without our family and friends who supported us the hole way through. From taking care of our animals, to our house, our emotions, and anything else we needed. When we arrived back in Denver, we could not take Jayden out any where because he did not have an immune system(one cold could have taken his life). Our family and friends were not invited in either so they would all come over on a daily basis and sit out front whether it be rain, sleet, or snow, and just play and talk with Jayden through the window. Now that he can get out and he is starting to get is immune system back we would love to gather family and friends with Jayden to have a good time together... Thanks for you time. here is Jayden's website please feel free to go back in the journals and read all of the updates.
