Chatfield senior signs to Colorado School of Mines


Jordan Smith, a 6-foot, 200-pound running back from Chatfield Senior High School committed to play football for Colorado School of Mines.

Colorado School of Mines Head Football Coach Bob Stitt announced the signing of 21 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, Feb. 7, the first day of the signing period. Smith was included.

Smith earned Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades. He recorded 55 carries for 270 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. He also registered four catches for 42 yards out of the backfield and posted 31 tackles.
