Waukesha, Wis. - Carroll College junior Nathan Drury has been named second team all-Midwest region by D3hoops.com, the web site announced March 15.
The D3hoops.com all-region team is voted on by Division III Sports Information Directors from around the country. Only those making first or second team all-conference were eligible for the all-region team.
Drury, from Littleton, led Carroll to its most successful season in team history. The Pioneers finished the year with a 21-5 record and advanced to their first ever NCAA Tournament. They set a school record for most wins in a season and earned their first ever top 25 national ranking, finishing the year at #17 after going as high as #13.
Drury led Carroll with 18.8 points per game while finishing second on the team with 124 assists. He was a first team all-Midwest Conference selection after finishing third in the league’s scoring race with 19.8 ppg in MWC competition.
