Jeffco students find their groove on the green

At the boys' golf state championship, Jeffco students made a winning putt.

In the 5A classification, Dakota Ridge High School, led by Coach Scott Burroughs, won fourth place. Team members include: Nick Allen, Zach Tripp, Cody Vance and Drew Vance. In the individual competition, Allen tied for fourth place and Tripp tied for ninth place.

D'Evelyn Junior/Senior, with Coach Troy Pachner, tied for third place. Its team members include: Andrew Pilkington, John Ahern and Sam Phillips. Phillips finished fourth and Ahern came in ninth as individuals.
