Cornerstone Park batting cages close for season
Contributed by: Chris McGrath on 10/20/2005

South Suburban Parks and Recreation’s batting cages at Cornerstone Park , located at Belleview and Windermere, will close for the season starting Oct. 31.  Until then, the batting cages will be open Mon.-Fri., from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., weather permitting.  The batting cages feature nine different machines with various speeds for baseball and softball and are a great place to practice your swing. Cornerstone Park also offers a super playground for youngsters, an inline rink, a skate park, basketball courts and a miniature golf course for the entire family’s enjoyment. For more information visit www.sspr.org or call 303-797-3796.
