Troop 117 attends Tahosa Camporee

Well, Troop 117 survived the 2008 Arapahoe District Camporee at Tahosa. They fought off cold weather and a little snow. We have to report that one tent collasped, but no injuries.

The boys that attended, 25 total from Troop 117, had a great time, learned a lot about teamwork and had fun cooking and camping. The boys teamed up to learn how to raise a pole, harder than it sounds when all you have is a rope! While the boys where hard at work several of the adults went on a hike around Tahosa lake and ran across six moose, very cool to see in Colorado.

The troop islooking forward to the next campree and are preparing for a five- mile hike in Castlewood Canyon.
Stay tuned for our next adventure.
