Storm win second tournament in a row

The Columbine Storm 14 year old baseball team has won the past two tournaments they have entered, The Directors tournament May 31st - April 1st hosted by SouthJeff Sports Associationand the Carrie King and Troy Lyles Memorial tournament April 13th - April 15th hosted by the Lakewood Junior Baseball Association in honor of Carrie and Troy who died in an automobile accident in August 2002.

The CKTL tournament gives scholarships to Lakewood High School athletes and former LJBA players. To date, LJBA has given $24,000 in scholarships and purchased a new scoreboard for Lakewood High School. The first set of scholarship winners are graduating from college this year.
