Description:
The Fit 4 Colorado Community Walk promotes physical activity in local communities. Each month, CBS4 and America On the Move partner with a different municipality to host a community walk. Each walk is 1-2 miles in length (2000-4000 steps) and encourages people to make small behavioral changes in order to improve their health.
The walks are free of charge and are open to all those interested in finding a fun way to stay active. Walkers are encouraged to dress for the weather, use sunscreen and bring their own water bottle. Each participant will receive a free Fit 4 Colorado pedometer.
Fit 4 Colorado is a statewide initiative that promotes the health and well-being of children and adults and is a partnership between CBS4, America On the Move, the Anthem Foundation and HealthONE.
