Health care panel to discuss collaboration

In Celebration of National Physical Therapy Month, the Physical Therapist Assistant Club at Arapahoe Community College will present "Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Communication in Health Care" on Friday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the Half Moon. A panel of speakers will offer perspectives from professional experience.

During the free event, learn how to:
Face challenges in teamwork-oriented health care settings
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other health professionals
Understand what various disciplines expect from each other.

Those who should attend include students in health career programs including Health Information Technology, Medical Technology, Medical Lab Tech, Nursing, Pharmacy Technicians, PTA, and students, faculty and staff interested in learning more about this field. Refreshments will be provided.
