Back in 1998 I just graduated high school and was very much into every weekend dancing. My girl friends and I had a routine of applying tons of makeup, putting on the shortest skimpiest outfits with heels then head out for a night on the town. One weekend my girl friends and I decided to go dancing in Pasenda, Texas, which was about 30 minutes from where we lived. That night was just like all the other nights very crowded, girls with too much makeup on, guys in skintight shirts and tons of cologne it basically was a teen's paradise.
We always made the rounds when we went into any club before we settled into one place. By doing that we would spot where the cutest guys were and then settle in somewhere near by. That night I made a round by myself just to see who was there and that's when I spot him. He was standing off to the side and had the most amazing body. He was 6 ft 3, a smaller version of Arnold Schwarzenegger, had the most amazing gold flaked eyes and his face was gorgeous. Talk about love/lust at first sight! He was watching the people on the dance floor and didn't see me coming when I approached. You would think I would be a little nervous about approaching a total stranger and one as good looking as him but I wasn't. I wanted to meet him and then grab my girl friends to go nuts over him.
I went up to him and told him hi and started making small talk and asked him to dance and he agreed. I remember thinking to myself, "OMG OMG this guy is so hot". We danced for a little bit and then talked some more. Later he walked me to my car and we exchanged numbers. A few days later he called and we went out on our first date. Our first date was kind of awkward even though I was extremely attracted to him he wasn't much a talker. He is the type of guy that is just really quiet. After that first date we were inseparable. He lived a good half-hour away from me but that didn't stop us from seeing each other almost daily. He took me out to dinner and a movie or something similar to that every weekend.
Since we got together he hasn't been back to a club and I have only gone a few times with groups. We have never been separated for longer then a week and have never broken up. Now we are married and planning on buying our first home hopefully this year. Its crazy if you think about it. I met my husband in a nightclub about 9 years ago! How much more random can it get? I hear people say that you can never find someone in a club and I have to correct them. I did and I sure as hell am glad that I did.
