MAN 86'D AT TREO GETS UPSET
At about 9:15 p.m. May 3, police responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Treo, 9070 Maximus Drive. Apparently, a 29-year-old Englewood man was standing on the corner of Yosemite Street and Maximus Drive yelling obscenities at a security guard at the bar and restaurant. A security guard said a 29-year-old man was harassing a group of women at the bar, so he cut him off for the night. The 29-year-old then got upset, yelling offensive utterances like "I am going to kill you," "I am going to call my boys and we will come back, and you are dead," "I just got out of the pen, I know people" and "I'll cut you." He then continued to yell obscenities from the street corner. He was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
MOTORCYCLISTS ELUDE OFFICER
While on routine patrol at about 8:30 p.m. May 3 in the area of Interstate 25 and C-470, an officer observed two motorcycles speeding. The officer got behind one of the motorcycles and attempted to pull over the driver, but the driver sped off at a high rate of speed. The officer said the motorcyclists were exceeding speeds of 100 mph and eluded him in the area of Parker and Chamber roads.
NO BURGLARY AT THE HOME DEPOT
An officer responded to a burglary call at about 4 a.m. May 6 at The Home Depot, 8477 Yosemite Street. A store manager said he arrived at the store at about 3:50 a.m. The manager said after doing a walk-through of the store, he noticed the door leading into the garden center was ajar. Police said the garden center door had been pried open forcibly. Nothing in the store appeared to be missing or out of place, and police determined no burglary had taken place.
