Police seek sexual assault suspect with B.O.

The Lone Tree Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a male suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl at the city's library July 7.

Investigators say the man has a "noticeable body odor."

Police say the girl was sexually assaulted in her vehicle in the parking lot between the Neighborhood Library at Lone Tree, 8827 Lone Tree Parkway, and Cook Creek Pool at approximately 5:10 p.m.

The suspect was described as a skinny white male with a dark shirt and blue jeans wearing a black belt. The suspect also was described as having short, dark brown hair with light facial hair and is said to be in his mid-20s or early 30s with a noticeable body odor.

***Update: A person of interest has been identified from video footage; more photos are attached to this story. The person of interest is shown in photo No. 2 to have a black t-shirt with unique wording on the back.Anyone who recognizes the person in the attached photographs or has any further information concerning this case is encouraged to contact Sgt.
