COUPLE COORDINATES THEFT
At about 4:30 p.m. July 12, police responded to Arden B, 8505 Park Meadows Center Drive, on a report of shoplifting. The store manager, a 24-year-old woman, said she saw a couple enter the store with a shopping bag and shoplift a black dress. An officer later approached the couple in question in the parking lot and searched their shopping bag. Police found the black dress, as well as a bottle of cologne from Banana Republic. The couple was arrested and transported to Douglas County Jail without incident.

WITNESS CLAIMS MAN PUSHES WIFE
At about 5:30 p.m. July 12, police responded to Chuck E. Cheese, 7510 Parkway Drive, on a report of a physical domestic dispute in the parking lot. A 30-year-old Castle Rock man said he was watching a man and woman having a "heated conversation" in the parking lot, when the man shoved the woman. Police later questioned the woman, a 28-year-old from Denver, who said her husband, 36, was upset because she was running late to their party. She said the were arguing in their vehicle, and got out into the parking lot so their children didn't have to hear their conversation. She said her husband pushed her, but "not hard." She later denied he pushed her at all. Despite her reluctance to have charges pursued against her husband, he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

SCUFFLE ONLY VERBAL
At about 12:20 a.m. July 12, police responded to Earls restaurant, 8335 Park Meadows Center Drive, on a report of a fight in progress. A 31-year-old New Jersey woman driving a black SUV in the parking lot was reportedly involved in the scuffle. Her 29-year-old brother was in the back seat. Police contacted the siblings, and the brother said a group of six men were harassing him about being from New Jersey. He said he left the establishment to avoid any further confrontation. Police determined no crime was committed.

THREE BAGGIES OF MARIJUANA FOUND
At about 10:45 July 14, an officer pulled over a motorist for weaving on Lincoln Avenue near Interstate 25. The driver, a 20-year-old Castle Rock man, did not appear to be intoxicated, but his passenger, a 19-year-old Castle Rock man, was acting nervous and did not make eye contact. A strong odor of cologne was emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a backpack with two baggies of marijuana and a handheld scale. Another baggie of marijuana was found in the center console of the vehicle. The men were issued citations for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
