South Suburban Parks and Recreation continues the annual planning process for its 2009 budget. Individuals are invited to attend the Wednesday, September 10 Board meeting and address the Board of Directors with comments regarding fees, requests for new programs or facilities, or improvements to existing facilities, parks, trails and open spaces. The meeting will be held at 7:30 pm at Goodson Recreation Center, 6315 S. University Blvd. (between Arapahoe Rd. and Orchard Rd.)

Citizens will have an additional opportunity to address the Board with 2009 budget comments on Wednesday, Oct. 8 when staff recommended program and facility fees will be the subject of the Board meeting. If citizens are unable to attend, comments can be sent to:
