Restaurant review: VIA BACI rocks

I can't cook to save my life. So I'm always looking for places to eat where the prices and food are good.
VIA BACI is my new favorite place for this, when I'm in south metro Denver.
We had a meeting at the Meridian Business Park on Lincoln (near Sky Ridge Hospital), and stopped into this place on a whim.
We got a Neapolitan pizza (like what they make in Italy) and an entree salad that rocked.
The pizza had a thin, light crust with bubbles in it and a slight charring on the bottom. Instead of a sauce, they had these chopped tomatoes with incredible flavor, and fresh mozzarella that had melted down to cover the whole pizza. The sausage had a really nice blend of spiciness without being too hot.
My friend had an entree salad that came with romaine lettuce, chopped apples, walnuts, fresh tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese and an awesome gorgonzola dressing.
The owner came by to talk to us, and sweet-talked us into trying the chocolate mousse cake. Wow. It was dark chocolate mousse with layers of chocolate cake -- and the chocolate just exploded in our mouths. You could tell it was high grade stuff.
We asked the owner why everything just tasted so good. He said they are importing most of the ingredients from Italy and Europe -- like the flour, tomatoes, olive oil, desserts and wines. No wonder why everything tasted great.
Service was fast, too. We were starved and in a hurry -- at lunch time. And they got the order to us in about 7 minutes, so we were in an out in a half hour, and actually had time to eat.
If you're on the road near Sky Ridge, Highlands Ranch or the Meridian Office Park, you should really check this place out.
Cute. Clean. Good prices like a Chipotle or a Tokyo Joe's -- but the food's way civilized, and service was fast! Check this place out if you're in the south metro area...it really deserves to win.
