Roller derby girl in Your Hub

Have you ever wondered who lives in the slate blue tri-level around the corner or in the apartment across the courtyard with that cute chihuahua named Chaz? It could be a Castle Rock 'n' Roller! Roller Derby has invaded Castle Rock and a league of 20 plus short-skirted, fishnetted, quad-skating women are introducing flat track roller derby to Douglas County. Their debut bout will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Events Center. Check out their website for ticket details and season schedule.

In the meantime get to know your roller derby neighbor and be sure to tell her to "keep rockin'" when you see her in Safeway.
