Contributed by: YourHub.com on 5/20/2008

Reported by Lone Tree Police

DRIVER LIKES HIGH HEELS

Police pulled over a motorist for weaving on southbound Interstate 25 at Lincoln Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. May 11. The driver, a 40-year-old Parker woman, did not have proof of insurance. She smelled of alcohol and her eyes were bloodshot and watery. The woman was wearing high heels, and an officer recommended she wear different shoes to perform roadside sobriety maneuvers. She said she had been wearing high heels most of her life and walked really well in them. After failing the tests, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released.

PARK UTILITY BOX DAMAGED
At about 5:15 p.m. May 10, an officer responded to Sweetwater Park, 8300 Sweetwater Road, to investigate a damaged utility box. Someone had apparently used a tool to pry the box open, and the electrical wires inside were left exposed. The damage was estimated at $100. There are no suspects.
