Blog Entry 10 of 27 LTC performs for more than 50 years
Longmont's all volunteer, non-profit community theatre, has celebrated more than 50 years of service to the community. Auditions and performances as well as other highlights such as Taste of Shakespeare and Youth Theatre summer programs.

Feast for the eyes

That is what this rendition of LTC's "Fiddler on the Roof" is, a feast for the eyes and ears. The melodic numbers of Tradition and Miracle of Miracles, the actors have stepped up to the challenge of presenting a fine piece of theatre.

The stage is set with non moving set pieces that are painted in jewel tones that are story telling in themselves.

I personally have favorite parts of the show, the scene where Tevye and Lazerwolf celebrate thier agreement over the marriage of a daughter is very fun. As well as the 'Dream' scene.

The actors all need to be congratulated for a job well done!

There are still tickets available at 303-772-5200. Performance dates are May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17.
