Get your Cracker Jack at "Damn Yankees"
Contributed by: Tracy Cravens   on 10/30/2007

A story of love, seduction and baseball couldn't be more timely, having had the World Series just ended. With a vendor tossing out Cracker Jacks and peanuts the whole baseball experience begins.
Joe Boyd makes a wish that comes true, to be young and be a great baseball player, but there is a price to pay, leave his wife of 30 years behind. And for Applegate(the devil) this is too much fun, he enlists Lola his first rate temptress to keep Joe in his service for 'eternity'. But Joe has such a deep love for his wife Meg that nothing will keep him from her.
Great music such as "You Gotta Have Heart" and "Whatever Lola Wants" makes this night out an affordable hit!
There is even a 7th inning stretch. So come along for the fun!
The Longmont Theatre Company has once again produced a timeless piece of live theatre. www.longmonttheatre.org or call 303-772-5200 for tickets.
