Surprising Humor in Brighton Beach
Contributed by: Tracy Cravens   on 1/31/2008

Wow, there is timeless humor in Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs" After having seen it several times, I still laugh out loud at the main character - Eugene talking like Matthew Broderick.. but no, a young actor from Lafayette, CO Bennett Horton III, does an amazing job narrating his own life as a teenager in the late 1930's. For volunteer community theatre you can't beat this show. With 3 performances left, the cast and crew can consider it a success!
