Being part of a production at the Longmont Theatre is always a new experience, each director has thier own way of doing things and attracts different actors.
In "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" there are some great actors to fit the roles. I sat through at rehearsal this week and am amazed at the personalities on stage. Yes, they are crazy, but these actors must be crazy in real life! Even this early in the rehearsal stage there is believability in the character of Billy, played by Michael Hawthorne, an abused child who is still a virgin and is very intimidated by women.
Chief Bromden, played by Jesse Pearlman, on the other hand is huge! In size and character.
Don't be crazy and miss out on thisclassic production. It would have to qualify as a Rated R show. But if your ears can tolerate it it is worth it.
