Blog Entry 5 of 20 LTC performs for more than 50 years
Longmont's all volunteer, non-profit community theatre, celebrated 50 golden years of service to the community. Auditions and performances as well as other highlights such as Taste of Shakespeare.

They are all Cuckoo!
Contributed by: Tracy Cravens   on 3/3/2008

Opening weekend was a success with Longmont Theatres production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". The cast was on fire as well as larger than average opening weekend audiences. With Jesse Pearlman as Chief Bromden and Patrick Collins as RP McMurphy leading the crazies, the tale of party at the asylum ensues. The special effects are what they should be for community theatre and very well timed. The lighting is very effective, thanks to the director Bernie Cardell and Lighting guru Jesse Weber. It may not be Jack Nicolson but for the money the show is well worth it.
