Premiere a Success!
Contributed by: Tracy Cravens   on 5/27/2008

What a weekend it was. Opening a World Premiere show..."Suspenders". The many people/volunteers it takes to make something like this a reality, a thanks to them all. The resturants that donated food for the gala to the behind the scenes people as well as the actors and the families.
Standing ovations for all performances gave me chills. To see a project come full circle, as some would call it 'giving birth'. With one more weekend and a couple of sold out shows the cast and crew are taking a few nights off to recover from the months of rehearsals and set building(off site) and load in (setting up the stage for the performances). Then there will be strike, where everything will need be torn down and put away and returned to all loaners. Then there can be the final celebration!

I saw this show as well and was amazed at the acting and the underlying message... we all have a story. We all matter. Beautiful!
