Blog Entry 13 of 18 LTC performs for more than 50 years

Longmont's all volunteer, non-profit community theatre, celebrated 50 golden years of service to the community. Auditions and performances as well as other highlights such as Taste of Shakespeare.

"Suspenders" wrapped up the LTC 50th Anniversary Season in style. Sell out after sell out. What an emotional ride this show was. It spoke of love, death, and forgetting where they put things. The writers dealt with the 'hard' issues in ways that made us cry and laugh. Some of the topics were close to home, with aging parents I saw these traits and with other relatives in nursing homes the pain and heart ache they have.
But to more happy things, the show was a success now on to get it published and produced in other theatres. What an exciting experience for everyone involved.
LTC celebrates is season with an awards banquet. And then on to the 51st season that will open in September with "Noises Off".
