Two Good Candidates for C

It appears that we have two good candidates for the District C school board position. According to the Times-Call article, both Robert Smith and Susan Deines have applied for the position.

I have met Bob Smith, and I consider him a friend. He is a good man, and he sincerely cares about students. I have not met Susan Deines, but based on the article, she certainly sounds like a plausible candidate.

Regardless of the outcome, I thank both candidates for coming forward to serve the community in this way.
