Blog Entry 1 of 2 Life in Boulder County without socialism
I believe candidates for public office in Boulder County should be committed to the Rule of Law first; I believe County Commissioners and City Council members are law makers subject to the law themselves rather than demigods whose divinity is themselves in the laws they make to rule over us. Candidates have a duty to tell the public before they are elected to tell the voters whether they are more important than the Constitution before they assume office. Otherwise, there is no consent to the change in government they impose on the public.

What do the Candidates for City Council stand for?

In each variant of Boulder style Socialism that has appeared in Longmont from 1984 onward including the 2007 November change, the aim of establishing liberty and equality is more and more openly abandoned. The new Council uses red tape to make a private housing project procedurally impossibleand cuts red tape to favor socialist inspired housing projects. Therefore the question of the hour is to Longmont Council Candidates:

1. Do you renounce taking private property by City of Longmont policy without paying the owner just compensation?

2. Do you renounce redistribution of the wealth by the Longmont City Council?

3. Do you renounce compulsory social engineering by the Longmont City Council?

4. Do you believe treating all persons equally in government processes is the Supreme Law of the Land?

5. Are you responsible for your own peace and prosperity or do you need Government to do it for you?

6. Is Boulder Socialism the only way to manage peace & prosperity at home in Boulder County?

7. Without straight answers from Candidates for City Council how will the public know if they are electing Socialists to city council or truthful non-partisan people?
