If you're like most of us, someone in your family at sometime needed crutches to help recover from surgery or an accident. Now those items are still in your basement or garage or shed collecting dust. Right? Well, the Rotary Club of Mead in conjunction with Crutches4Africa plans to collect them and get them in the hands of people who desperately need them. Crutches, canes, walkers, even wheelchairs are needed. If you want to clean up, clean out and help someone then keep reading...

The Rotary Club of Mead will be collecting crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs at the Town of Mead Spring Clean-Up Days on April 5 & 6. If you have some crutches to recycle and want to drop them off at the collection site, contact me at Mk_Mercurio@yahoo.com for more information.
