First, there is the diet plan:
A VLCD (very low-calorie diet) plan which promises a pound a day loss.
A plan which promises that no exercise is needed. Ever.
A plan which was so disconcerting that
Women's World
had to alter it for publication.
A plan which promises no hunger on 500 calories a day on one of its phases.
A plan by a woman
whose
before and after pictures
don't appear to be of the same woman.
A plan which
claims that
Jessica Alba
follows
.
A plan which
about.com
has just highlighted as a "potentially dangerous diet".
A plan which has brought forth
survivors willing to speak out
.
A plan which is being targeted to children
as I discussed here

A plan which must be scrutinized by the Federal Trade Commission, the attorney general of California, and the Better Business Bureau.

Thank you, Stan. Boy, if I could pay a nickel to educate each and every person before anything happened to them, I would take out a big loan. I hope the FTC, the BBB amd the attorney general can do something.

I was the 106th person to sign the petition. Not even the government can save us from ourselves. Companies like that thrive because people don't know the truth and want to believe the outrageous. We need to petition the people to do a little research.
