Blog Entry 94 of 96 Horoscopically Blonde
Life is pretty funny. From waking up in the morning and seeing yourself naked, to slipping down the driveway waving your arms about like a chicken, it's all about the humor. Death is serious. Life is hilarious. Unless you're a SeaHawks fan. Then it's tragically funny.

Campy Name Game
Contributed by: Jamie VanEaton   on 7/15/2008

My husband just returned home from a week long Scout Camp.

Whenever he came across one of the teenage camp counselors, he would find some way to remember their names coupled with something humorous.

Upon seeing the sandy-haired teenager, he would say, "Austin..." and then point to a pile of boulders and say "... rocks!"

After a few days of this, the counselors were used to his humor and usually beat him to the punch. Usually.

Lincoln walked past my sweet baboo for the first time this last Thursday.

My husband yelled, "Lincoln..." and gestured left.

Lincoln, remembering the other counselors, said, "Rocks!"

"No," my husband said pointing at the nearby apens. " Logs!"

It is always healthy for a relationship to consider one's spouse humorous. Amazingly, yours actually is.

I always associate Lincoln Logs with Tootsie rolls. That's just me, though.

Jamie, hilarious story and also a helpful reminder to me because I can't remember names either for the life of me. An example of that was when we moved into our new house and had a house warming with our neighbors, friends, and family. Weeks after I was calling one of my friends to have her remind me again of what my next door neighbors name was :)
