Blog Entry 121 of 208 The Subversive Liberal
"If by a "liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "liberal." – President John F. Kennedy...................... Some people find me and that sentiment subversive. I'm here to set the record straight and offer the real typical liberal point of view. Some call it subversive, I call it patriotic.

The Loyal Bushie Oath
Contributed by: Bing Van Gorden   on 12/12/2007

We are loyalists of the Bush administration. We willfully allow the federal government to compile data bases tracking our phone calls and internet traffic. We embrace torture as acceptable, as long as we don't call it that. We understand that the federal government must keep secrets from us. Even if it means classifying information that was once public or has nothing at all to do with national security, but instead will make our leader Bush look bad. We will ignore the true horrors of war and forsake our veterans because our leader Bush wants us to. We will believe like zealots the following lies, Iraq had the stockpiles of weapons our leader Bush told us about, and that Saddam Hussein had something to do with 9/11/01. We will belittle Democrats for the smallest and most insignificant of thing like the absence of lapel pin but forgive Republicans who throw our tax dollars at their buddies. We will demonize the victims of Hurricane Katrina, we will call them names and mock them. We don't mind if the federal government allows industry executives to manage the regulatory agencies that oversee their corporations. We will accept dirtier water and air. We will say nothing of the millions of tax dollars given to war profiteers. We are fine with private armies of commandos patrolling our streets as they did in New Orleans. We accept the leader Bush has the authority to ignore certain laws. We understand the leader Bush only lies if we remember what he has said in the past. We will abandon the Constitution and Geneva conventions and any other document that prevent our leader Bush from doing whatever he pleases. We will dismiss science and embrace evangelical teachings, understanding our leader Bush is a good Christian man who makes decisions without thinking them through because God talks to him. We will dismiss any truth that denies our leader Bush's desires. We will never blame leader Bush but instead will blame the media for reporting on his illegal, unethical and /or immoral conduct. We will freely ignore information the leader Bush doesn't approve of and accept without question that which he does approve of. We are the kool-aid drinkers, sheep and lemmings who will help Bush destroy the great experiment that is the United States of America. Freedom is for us, no one else, especially those homos and brown people.

According to the Duelfer report the munitions you speak of were badly degraded and even Bush has admitted that these were not the WMDs he was referring to. You, Sean Hannity and a couple of other true believers are the only ones who cling to these remnants of the Iran/iraq war as proof of an imminent threat. I saw your links, I wasn't swayed. I do research chief, I trust no one and never agree 100% with anybodys opinions. You believe what you want, you always do.

WMDS? We found the stock piles of Sarin and truckloads that Bush told us about? No, we didn't. You are so brain washed man. Torture is wrong chief, whether they are members of a national military or not. Now I just feel sorry for you. But thanks for checking in and again, Merry Christmas to you.

LOL! That oath speaks straight from the Clinton era! Difference being liberals now don't like all the programs just because a Republican is using them. Bush listening in does not even cover HALF of what Clinton did with Project Echelon!! Geneva convention? Please show me where anyone in Gitmo is a member of a nation's military..... BTW- don't forget to count the 30 of them already released that have been caught once again re-engaged on the battlefield!! How come you liberals forget that part of the story... WMDs: Come on Bing Buddy!! Just because liberal continue to close their eyes does not mean they are not there.... must I go over WMDs again for you...
