Blog Entry 18 of 35 Dooty and Honor
My take on the political scene, spiced with bits of life-as-it-happens. I'll try and separate the fertilizer from the facts, at least as I see it. Coming from the perspective of a not-so-average guy with little or no respect for sacred cows, moose or squirrels. A master debater and wielder of a needle-sharp wit guaranteed to pop the toughest gasbag. Count on seeing people you know and love lampooned and harpooned with impunity and puns galore. No one will be spared, that's a promise. (Note: this blog not recommended for the humor-impaired and you know who you is.)

Bing, from what I can see, it works like this: dissent IS treason, unless Dems are in office, then anything goes. See, it's simple.... like them.

Criticism of America and dissent is your patriotic duty. I don't agree with many of the protesters or their tactics however someone having the balls enough to go out into the street for something they believe in and criticize their government would make the founding fathers proud. Despite the assumption they hate their country, they are actually showing they care enough about it to make an a$$ of themselves if need be. Why are Republicans so protective of government all of the sudden they confuse dissent with treason? I don't get it.

Actually no David it wasn't war. Major Combat Operations had ended remember? The right wing, the Federalist, believes in a unitary executive, a perpetual state of war so a perpetual state of suspending Constitutional protections. If you aren't concerned with the right wing you are indeed a moonbat.

The right-wing hates America - hates it with a passion. They hate that everybody gets to vote, they hate that everybody has - well, had - civil rights, and they hate that people who aren't rich white male Christians can become leaders. They're doing everything in their power to destroy that America - the real America - and replace it with a ghastly parody. Fortunately they're much too stupid to actually carry it off.

We hate what your party has DONE to America Davey - again, you've deleted a critical fact. As for why we keep getting accused, it's called 'transferrance' and it's very very sad.

"Police state." What a lovely way to refer to the United States of America. And you people can't figure out why you keep getting accused of hating America. (shaking my head in disbelief)

What was the context Bing? War? Yep. War is messy all right. So now we're comparing war with the Democratic National Convention.

Hey David, I am not a big fan of a lot of them either but wasn't it Rummy who said "freedom is messy?"
