My take on the political scene, spiced with bits of life-as-it-happens. I'll try and separate the fertilizer from the facts, at least as I see it. Coming from the perspective of a not-so-average guy with little or no respect for sacred cows, moose or squirrels. A master debater and wielder of a needle-sharp wit guaranteed to pop the toughest gasbag. Count on seeing people you know and love lampooned and harpooned with impunity and puns galore. I'm stunned, stunned I tell you, to hear that the Wilson sisters are upset about the GOP using one of their songs without permission.

I mean, really!

Who ARE these uppity women daring to tell the putative masters of the world what they can do?

The GOP owns the world, didn't Heart get the memo?

I think these confused girls should be forced to play the song for every single appearance of the VP from here on - in the skimpiest outfits possible - just to show them who's really in charge.

You really want to see Ann Wilson in a skimpy outfit? http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13477.html "...in most cases, they have no legal basis to stop him from using their songs." Nor do any others as they (and I assume Obama) bought the ASCAP/BMI licenses.

What would be a more fitting theme song for the GOP? Maybe, Bob Dylan's "Masters of War" the Who's "Don't get Fooled Again" or the Beatles "Helter Skelter." is there a song called Despicable morally bankrupt self righteous chest thumping war monkeys? Because that would be perfect!
