From the "Right" side of life
A blog for those in pursuit of ALL the truth, ALL the facts, correct perspective, and frankly a place where one can get the side of events and issues that most media (and all liberals frankly) refuse to report.

Why is it the Democrats are so bent on trying to bring back the reputation we had in the 90s? They continue to say we need to get back to it. Really what we have done is get back the respect that was literally given away by Democrat administrations. Osama bin Ladin exploited our weak reputation, and terrorist became more and more brazan with each attack on Americans that was left unanswered. Clinton himself admits to the notion that all he ever wanted to do was "scare" the bad guys, and falls short of acknowleging that they called his bluff in the 90s and we paid a terrible price. We now have the attention back that we once had. Lybia saw the light early on, and others are slowly comming to the table now as they see we can't be ignored. Democrats behind closed doors know they are found to be weak on defense of this nation, and frankly the whole world knows they are.

Remeber the key word here... ESTIMATE! I find it interesting that liberals accept the NIE lockstep, but yet still struggle with 9/11 pre defense intel? Oh wait! Sandy Berger was in jail during this last work up so you think you have ALL the info you needed now! Is that it? Or the truth that libs will take ANYTHING that will bring all the funds from defense back to the entitlement table...

Steve, the National Intelligence Estimate is the consensus opinion of several of our intelligence agencies. The opinion of the President has nothing to do with it. So yes I tend to put more stock in their assessment over the opinions of a handful of people in the Bush administration that have been proven wrong time after time. Lybia's abandonment of WMD was in the works long before Bush came into office. It would be nice to think all we have to do is push soldiers into meat grinder and drop some bombs to get the world to do our bidding, but diplomacy won out there. I'd think you'd have a little more concern for your brothers in arms than to blindly follow Bush, a man who shirked military service, and Cheney who took five deferments during Vietnam. It's puzzling really.

LOL! Another liberal that upon realization that the facts are sure to destroy the talking point fed to them, resort to throwing on a spelling police badge and stepping up. You go with your bad self there Doug! Get'um good! While I should spend more time on spell check, maybe then you could absorb a comment without it having to be spelled out for you... Why do we have so many citizens that are so wrapped up in criticizing any opinion that goes against the grain of the liberal agenda, instead of defining their own position... Oh.. thats right.. you have to have a CORE first.

Hmmm.. "Our own intelligence estimates." Did ya catch the background of those who ran that last "estimate?" You would have gotten a better assessment from Joe Wilson!! Libs once again taking an estimate at face value, and unable to defend it after Bush beat it down with the report of the secret Nuke program in Iran that has yet to be disclosed. Funny how when the intel fits the liberal agenda, why you take it and run, but when it doesn't you libs stick your heads in the sand. If "Bush lied" about WMD intel, then why do you take the latest estimates?

Actually poll after after poll shows our standing as a world leader and example have diminished quite a lot do to Bush's foreign policy blunders. Our our own intelligence estimates have consistently stated these policies are creating more terrorists and making Americans less safe abroad. But believe what you want.
