From the "Right" side of life
A blog for those in pursuit of ALL the truth, ALL the facts, correct perspective, and frankly a place where one can get the side of events and issues that most media (and all liberals frankly) refuse to report.

Not that any side of our nation's political spectrum is chalked full of angels and Eagle Scouts, but there is a stark difference between Conservatives aka GOP and the liberal Democrats. Liberals with their "Do as I say.. not as I do" or rock throwing from a very glass house continue to illustrate a level of hypocrisy never practiced by any other. Some examples:
Demanding investigations for everything that moves on the right, while refusing to afford the same to anyone on the left.
Jefferson
of LA and his cold cash,
Feingold
and her MILCON contracts to her husband,
Clinton
's and Chinese campaign games, etc.
Calling for the heads of CIA officials for destruction of interrogation tapes yet, Sandy Berger gets barely a slap on the hand for his Top Secret file antics.
Sen.Lott pulled down for "racist" comments at a Birthday party and the efforts to do so lead by no less than Sen.
Dodd
who did the same on the floor for his buddy WVA's Byrd.
Upset with
Bush
flying around in military aircraft and making landings on carriers, yet Leahey just before that was buzzing around in fighter aircraft whenever he wanted.
Bush called out for firing 8 Attnys by
Hillary Clinton
? Guess she forgot all about Travel Gate...
Bush again called out for wire tapping and electronic spying, yet nobody remembers Clinton and Project Echelon data minning efforts.
Even the homosexual behavior of leaders with pages during the last election cycle, yet forgot all about true homosexual actions from Mr.
Studs
who even after being sensured, recieved standing ovations from the left, and was re-elected twice afterwards. Yet they called for a Republican to resign? hmmm.
The list is quite long, and the list of history of scandals beyond just simple hypocrisy is even longer. While it contains both sides of political parties, the ratio of Democrats to Republicans is staggering.
The other big difference: When a Republican is found to be unethical, they avail themselves to accountability where Democrats NEVER do.

Carrie, Bill Clinton said "it depends on what your definition of is, is." An absurd statement on it's own, you don't need to change the meaning to sound more like Nixon's "when the President does it, it's not illegal." You seem to hate Democrats just as much as I hate the current Republican party, but by your standards I hate the Dems too. You still haven't illustrated how the Dems are being omnipotent. Republicans had control nationally and locally only until recently. What have they done to you, and what have the Republicans done for you? And it's Van Gorden. In Longmont, the new city council has just taken over, what have they done or said to lead you to your conclusions. Just curious, but I feel if you are going to throw stones, the least you can do is say why.

Hey, Democrats are not held accountable because we believe Bill Clinton when he says "The definition of 'is' is what I say it is" or the Bing Van Gorten’s of the world to remind us hating Republicans is more exhausting than love and to question what difference does it make anyway. The majority is intoxicated with its new power from the election believing majority status is superior status in life to make them omnipotent. Thus, with the majority in power the people of Longmont have no more need to enjoy the process of life. You want a picture of life in Longmont's future with the new majority? Imagine a boot stamping on a human face for ever. And, remember the heretic in this article, the enemy of society, will always be there so that he can be defeated and humiliated over again no matter what hat he or she wears. Republican, Democrat, Independent, Socialist or whatever.

Republicans and ethics? Are you aware of all the dirty tricks they pulled during the 109th Congress? using fake terror threats to force votes like the Military Commissions Act of 2006. Holding voice votes open for hours instead of the usual 15 minutes to twist more arms. Tom Delay bribing one congressman on the floor. Keeping all Democrats out of committees. Attempting to toss out the filibuster, something they've done in record numbers this 110th congress. I won't defend the Democratic Party from being unethical, but your insinuation is way off. That's the difference between yourself and people like me. You seem to cling to your party right or wrong. I'm happy to criticize mine, you should see some of the things I've written to Ken Salazar! It's like your Anne Coulter in drag.

In the military we usually have them. Some of us can shoot straight, and fight well... the rest can spell real good.... but hey, we need them too!

Glad ya like it Doug! Yes, spelling and grammer are a weak spot by my own admission, and for full disclosure, I'm so ugly that only radio would have me.... but the mind is sharp, and experienced enough to know when a liberal nut who upon exhausting the talking points fed to him fail, they resort to defamation and insults... Ususal suspects start out as the spelling police... maybe you've seen them...

CIA tapes orderd not to be destroyed: WRONG!! Judge specifically addressed GITMO material. (Try using something other than MediaMatters Bing...) Before you cry about semantics on GITMO vs. anywhere else, lets not forget the definiton of "is" shall we.... NEWS FLASH!! Sandy Berger is working in Washington as we speak! He is an active member of Hillary Clinton's campaign!! (though not paid staff.) My guess is Berger is out stuffing his clothes with the more than 26 thousand pages of documents Clinton has refused to release after saying nothing was being held back!! Come on Bing! You can do better than this!

Exactly!! Republicans held their own accountable! When have you ever seen a Democrat held to a standard... Ethic rules? Tom Delay stepped down because Republicans have a higher standard of ethics than Democrats would ever put on paper! BTW.. Tom Delay campaign finance issues are NOTHING compared to the Chinese connection the Clintons have right now!!

Bush's wire tapping exceeds Clinton's project Echelon, which I remember quite well and one of the reasons liberals don't consider him to be liberal. Bush had the NSA set up shop in almost all the major telecom companies to monitor the calls and emails of millions of Americans. If you are angry at Clinton, you can't ignore Bush without being the hypocrite. Republicans demanded Foley resign, not Democrats. This is too easy. Republicans when found unethical simply try to change the ethics rules to stay in power. Saying Democrats never do is just an ignorant statement. And here's a news flash, as a liberal, I could count on my hands the number of representatives that I consider to be liberal. None of them were mentioned here.
